We test the actual checkout end-to-end across guest, registered, and your most common payment paths. We look for race conditions, abandoned-cart triggers, post-payment redirect issues, and order data consistency. Most store revenue leaks happen here.
Every active gateway reviewed for configuration drift, webhook reliability, refund handling, and currency/tax interaction. We check for failed-but-not-flagged transactions, which are the worst kind: you do not know they failed until a customer complains.
Real measurements, not synthetic scores. We profile product pages, category pages, cart, and checkout under realistic conditions. We identify the real bottleneck (database queries, plugin overhead, unoptimized images, slow third-party scripts) and quantify the impact on your visitors.

Most "audit" services are automated scanner reports plus boilerplate recommendations. Ours is not.

Automated scanners catch obvious things and miss the issues that really break stores. An engineer with hands on your codebase finds what scanners cannot. We use scanners as one input, not the whole audit.
Most audit reports say "improve security" or "optimize performance" without telling you what to actually change. Ours tells you which file has the issue, why it matters, what to change, and what the fix costs. Detailed enough that you could hand the report to any competent developer.
The audit is a deliverable, not a sales tool. You can fix the issues with us at the prices quoted, with someone else, or yourself. We do not push you toward a care plan, even if one would make sense.
Not every "issue" needs fixing. Some are theoretical risks with low impact, some are stylistic choices that work fine. We are honest about which findings genuinely matter and which are nice-to-haves. Your time and budget are limited, and we respect that.

No. The audit is yours to act on however you want: fix with us, fix with another developer, fix it yourself, or do nothing. We quote fix prices so you have the option. Most clients fix the top 2-3 findings and skip the rest.
If we cannot find at least 5 actionable findings in your store, you get a full refund. Realistically, every store we have audited has had findings. The guarantee is real anyway.
No. We use read-only access. The audit is observational: we look, we document, we report. No production changes during the audit.
A security scan is automated and surface-level (catches known vulnerabilities, common misconfigurations). An audit is hands-on and covers four other areas: checkout integrity, payment health, performance, plugin/theme health. Security is one of five things we look at.
We document our reasoning for every finding. If you disagree, push back. We will reconsider, and if your reasoning is sound, we update the report. We have done this before; we are not married to our findings.
No, WooCommerce only. We focus on WordPress and WooCommerce as a specialty. Shopify and BigCommerce have their own dedicated audit specialists who will serve you better.
